There’s a reason the King Midas fable is a cautionary tale.
Here we see Beyonce at the Globes, followed by Beyonce at the VMAs, capped off by Beyonce at the American Music Awards. And yes, we know that Beyonce is a diva, we know that she loves bling, we know that she wants to be seen as a star. But do we think that maybe, possibly, there could be, I don’t know, any other way of telegraphing this information besides wearing a gold dress? Beyonce in gold is more boringly predictable than Bob Novak being douchey or Michael Jackson being pervy. On top of which, you can totally see the girdle through the stretch satin on the right there. Just saying, a black dress would have covered that.
